guys and gals I know I am new here, and i am not trying to piss anyone off, but each year in Maryland we have this great benefit... the polar bear plunge. http://www.plungemd.org
i am a participant in this event where in January, January 24 to be exact i will be plunging into the freezing waters of the chesapeake bay to raise money for Maryland Special Olympics. Now most of us take advantage of their misfortunes throughout the years, i included. So this is a chance to give a little back. Over Thanksgiving, I went up to my cousin's house in South Carolina. They live up in the mountains. They just built a "spa room" type thing and they have a hot tub. Me and my cousin went from the 102 degree hottub to his 35 degree pool out in his yard. So have fun freezing! If I had money I would definatly sponsor you, but I'm 16 and have a hard time paying gas. I was in that Bay in the summer, so Winter swim in it is out of the question, did that in Lake Erie....
