    Default 350 tbi

    i have a 350 TBI was parked for about a year but started every week or so.... It ran fine yesterday then last night it acted like it ran out of gas ..... was it does is when you take off from a stop it falls flat on its face .... won't accelerate .... but once you get pass that it runs fine until you come to a stop again... thought it was clogged cat pulled that off ... fuel filter changed.. plugs and wires .... can't figure it out ..... y'all help would be greatly appreciated ....

    could be a throttle position sensor or a bad injector

    What year 350 TBI? Is your check engine light on?

    Bad gas, fill the tank and take it out and run it for awhile.

    Agreed, I've seen vehicles act like this with old gas in it. You could run some octane booster through it and see if that helps.

    yeah fill it up and threw some seafoam in it we'll see what it does....... it's an 89 and no light
    but i will check to see if it has any codes in the morning thanks guys

    Check MAP sensor, appears to stumble from lack of Air Mixture. When you state "You get Past That", so when you get a certian RPM range it starts to run correctly? What about when you kick it down when
    it runs correctly, does it stumble and then go again? If yes to all this, MAP... Also, you fuel will varnish after
    sitting for so long without stablizer, cause the throttle body to have problems also. Drain the fuel and start fresh.

    I could be wrong, but I don't think those years had a MAF sensor. I think they were MAP sensor driven.

    Yep, your right it should have been written as the MAP sensor, thanks for the correction......

    any updates? i have a similar problem and cant figure it out.
