Ls motor swap
Hey guys/gals, I am looking to do a motor swap in my 83 Silverado. Can anyone send or direct me on how to do this? ( Parts, things I may need.) Also looking for info on natural gas conversions. Thanks in advance!

As far as the natural gas thing, I've been looking into that myself. The first thing you should check in availability of CNG filling stations. Where I live there are only 2 within 50 miles. Not a good deal for a daily driver. To check for CNG in your area goto the Alternative Fuels Site If you've got plenty of sources I'd consider it. Otherwise you might consider the propane alternative.
Here is a quick reference of CNG vs LPG
In California an alternative fuel vehicle is exempt for regular emissions inspection.
My next truck will be a 4 door late 70's early 80's Silverado with a propane conversion. The most positive benefit is that your fuel dollars don't line the pockets of people in countries that want to kill you.
