2001 3500 fuel tank question
Hi, I just bought a 2001 6.0 3500 flat bed.
It has two fuel tanks, one along side the frame and one behind the rear axle. Is there a switch somewhere to change gas tanks or does it automaticly switch tanks?
My friends 83 silverado has a switch on the dash board to change tanks but I can not find a switch anywhere.

Welcome to the site! Is this flatbed a dually? I'm not sure of that configuration with 2 tanks so hopefully someone here might be able to help you.Darcy

yes is is a dually, there is a long skinny tank on the drivers side and a square tank behind the rear axle between the frame rails.

If you cant find a switch on or under the dash I would think that there is some sort of an auto "swticher"
