Military Roll Call

Ex-AF 1998-2012. I had enough so I had to pull the plug, my family is more important to me than a paycheck. I was tired of putting the country first and I almost lost the most important person in my life. Good luck to all other military members. I'm proud to say I served with some great infantry men and obtained my combat action badge. I know it's not a CIB but it's the closet I could get.

USMC for five years from 1999-2004.
OIF 2003 (Was part of day 1)

Traveled a good bit.

Worked as an avionics tech on Cobra and Huey helicopters making sure they got out fast enough for close air support to our guys on the ground. That's where the screen name comes from. Got out and did the same job for Bell Helicopter, with the same squadron for a year as a civilian contractor. Now I'm working as a logistics contractor supporting the same aircraft, I just support all squadrons now instead of working for one. I wouldn't trade my service years for anything. I never realized how much I would miss it until I got out and not a day goes by that I don't wish I could go back.

USN active duty, currently stationed on DDG 95 in Norfolk. I transfer to the Pentagon in 7 months. I'm a Information Systems Technician (IT).

US Marines (Military Police)

2002 - 2003 - Okinawa, Japan (Deployed with the 31st. MEU)
-While deployed I've been to : Guam, Iwo Jima, Mainland Japan, Korea (Just missed "Operation Croc" in Australia)

2003 - 2005 - Yuma, Arizona (The armpit of Arizona)
- While stationed at MCAS Yuma I deployed over sea's.

Jan. 2005-Sep. 2005 : Deployed to Iraq to provide PSD for EOD taking care of all the VBIED's and IED's. (Vehicle Born Improvised Explosive Device / Improvised Explosive Device)

Sep. 2005 - Feb. 2006 : Back in Yuma, Arizona till I EAS'ed.

Then in October 2007 got involuntary recall orders to report to Kansas City, Missouri for deployment screening. Was supposed to receive orders in January 2008 but never received them.
