    Default 01 Suburban not switching into 4X4

    I''m new here so please bear with me I have a 2001 suburban 1500 lt and it won''t switch into any mode of 4 wheel drive. The lights blink as usual but nothing happens. No sounds etc. If I get an OBD will it give me the correct fault code to fix the problem. I know that there are numerous threads on the subject but none have answered my problem.

    Welcome to the site! Have you tried taking it out of park like put it in neutral and see if it would engage?

    Yes, I've tried about every combination I can think of to get it to engage.
