    Default the 5.3

    with a 2 wheel drive, 4 speed auto, extended cab chevy.......any one have one of these? What is the real world mileage on these?

    I have the 07 crew 2wd. in town its about 13 hwy around 18-19

    That's about what I get but I'm happy. If the gas mileage isn't good enough I'll just get in my Trans Am and remember why I daily drive the truck! Haha

    I drive mostly highway and get about 19-20 mpg with the mods listed in my signature.

    2002 Sub if I try hard i can get 14 towing 4000 lbs. and 20+ hwy light, 15 locally, a lot of the time I am off those numbers.

    14 ish round town if i "drive" it 17 if i keep my foot out of it
    about 19 hwy

    My 2006 Silverado get 15 during rural/suburban type driving, and get 19 - 21 mpg highway driving -- the higher numbers if I drive the speed limit. ;)

    Right now, it's well below zero, and my milage has dropped off at least 25%. :(
