I bought my leveling kit from MAXXCAM its just a 2.5 in kit for the front. 4 spacers. Still runnin stock rims and tires only becuasue it michigan and snow and salt. Put it on no problem. Now i got a clunk from it seems like both sides. i still need to get an alignment but im not sure if i wanna spend themoney for the alignment and hope the clunk goes away for come to find out that its still there. its a 08 4x4 reg cab short box wt ne one else have this problem??
I highly doubt your "clunk" will go away after an alignment. When does the clunk exactly happen? When you stop? Go? Turn Left? Right? All the time no matter what, even when your truck is parked and you're not in inside?![]()

When driving down the road hitting bumps, turning left or right, driving in reverse and turning. You can feel it in the floorboard as well. Loud enough i gotta crank the radio up to get rid of it. I dont think an alignment would help but i need one anyway. Im thinking something got loosend up. They re tightend all the bolts and even the strut again and its still there.

so its a constant clunk clunk clunk, or just a clunk at takeoff then into a turn a clunk, then clunk to stop, etc. etc...

With your leveling kit, did you install longer shocks or extenders?

constant 5mph or 50. the kit never said id need longer shocks in it all it was in the kit was a spacer that goes above the strut that mounts into the engine compartment and a alum spacer at the bottom of the spring and were the spring sits on the strut.

I'm not sure, but it could be your shocks bottoming out. I've heard that if you put spacers on the front, you need either longer shocks or shock spacers. Although, I've also heard of people putting spacers without longer shocks or spacers and everything was fine. That's my only guess though...

I have a reg. cab as well. Mine was fine after i put the leveling kit on. Maybe you should try to lift up your front end and unload the suspension (let the tires hang freely) Take a long prybar and start moving your front suspension around. If its bad enough you might be able to hear the clunk without having the all the weight of your vehicle applied. Just move the suspension parts in the direction that they'd normally travel while driving. Ive done that many of times when i worked at the dealership. Its seems to help sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Doesn't hurt to try though. Good Luck
