    Default blower motor resistor

    I have 2005 trailblazer, my blower worked only on low speeds then stopped working. Pulled out the resistor, and it looks fine, but the wiring harness connected to it is melted to the resistor. Can i salvage the resistor and buy a wiring harness to tie in to it? Or do i need to buy a new resistor and wiring harness? Has any one bought one, i don't know if it comes with the wiring harness.

    I'd replace both. The resistor does not come with a new harness. You can pick up a new resistor at auto parts stores like Auto Zone or Car Quest, But I believe the harness is only available though GM
