Newbie's 99 Burb history
Had 99 Suburban year and a half. Changed gas filter and put in K&N air filter, went from 600 miles off of 37 gallons of gas to 700-720. Got about 22 mpg round trip Georgia to Oklahoma in June. Love the SUV, love the Vortec!
Check engine light came on after putting in the oil-infused air filter, reset button (behind filter box) and it went off. Check engine light came on again recently; squirrels left acorn seeds or used for outdoor plumbing. Cleaned out, reset, light went off.
Power stearing leak fixed with sealant
Jack-knifed flatbed trailer(forgot, doh!) and need to remove left quarter panel, pound out (not bad), mig weld six inch or so gash, bondo, finish out, paint.
