I have a 2007 Equinox LT AWD, I love it, got me thru the Canadian Winter with no troubles at all, until yesterday, after going thru the car wash, I gave it the usual once over, and there are pin hole rust spots over the entire vehicle.

Welcome to the site! That's too bad about the rust. Could it be defective paint or harsh winter road conditions with salt and gravel? If you bought it new, does your factory or extended warranty cover paint defects? Just a thought.

GM has a corrosion warranty against rust "THROUGH". If the rust has come from the inside out it will be covered. VERY HARD however to prove that. If the rust started on the outside however( like from chips and dings from road salt and sand )it is not covered.
If interested in seeing if it is warranty covered I suggest going to a few body shops 1st to have them look and see if it is rust through or exterior. GM will almost surely say it is exterior even if it is rust through so have some idea 1st what it is. If you can get some independant shops to say it rusted through get it in writiing to fight GM with.
The absolute hardest thing to get covered under warranty from a car dealer/mfg is body panel rust.
