Hello:
I have a 2007 Suburban 1500 LTZ 4x4 with the 5.3L Flex engine. I am looking for additional power/performance short of replacing manifolds and such. I was thinking about a cold air intake, performance chip, headers (if they make them) and exhaust.
Has anyone performed these modifications? Did they make a significant difference? Which intake/chip/exhaust system worked out the best? Does anyone have performace data on the before and after? Does anyone know of a "project" suburban with this engine?
I will post my results but was looking for a jump start.
Thanks!
btw- I also have a 2003 Duramax that I have "tuned" up a little bit. It will light up my 285"s. Hoping I can get this suburban to perform a whole lot better.

Welcome to the site and Merry Christmas! Your headed in the right direction with your mods and I'm sure some of the "go fast" folks will chip in later. There are also a few Duramaxs on the site, so have fun!
