    Default "Service Four Wheel Drive"

I'm new to this forum, and was looking for some help with my 2004 Suburban. The warning "Service Four Wheel Drive" came on while my wife is driving. We rarely use Four Wheel Drive, and she's tried to push the 2 Wheel option, both while in park and while driving. Can anyone give me some direction. Thanks!

Was it in 2wd already? Did the light come while on a long trip/short trip? Onwers manual for the 4WD service message? Have you removed the Neg. Battery cable for a short period and then re-install and see if light clears and then returns? Truck feel different to you or the Wife?
