    Default Gettysburg noob

Hi everyone! I just happened on this site while surfing GM stuff. I like to fix anything thats broke but my truck don't break enough to keep me busy so I thought why not try to help others also. I have a '97 Silverado Z71 with all the factory options( I call her Silvia)Silvia and I have been together for nine years now . She stuck by me through some hard times like when I had to put 87 octane in when gas prices were so high or when I had to go a couple more thousand miles before an oil change or when I want to keep with the traffic up the long hill while towing my boat she always keeps up with the best of them. I'm looking forward to another nine years with her.
I work as an electric vehicle ( forklifts, pallet jacks and order pickers) and general maintenace tech. for the last fifteen years. I believe when you learn from instruction and training its an accomplishment but experience is gained from your mistakes. That being said I think I can claim the title to the most experienced person on this board.(HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!) seriously though, I read a lot of posts here and think this is the friendliest forum I ever visited, theres a real good group of people gathered here and I look forward to future communications.

    Get lost.

    Just kidding!!

Sounds like you've gained a lot off education the same way as me - those moments when you turn into a jerry springer show... you look at what you've just done, maybe extra parts in your hand and say.. "what the *****...?!... Oh no ****** way that just ****** happened today. No ***** way. I don't ****** believe this ******. ********** it!!!!!!!! Why today out of all the ********* days and my ******** moods that this ******* had to ********* happen to me right *******now!!!!!!!!!"

Well, that's how most of my automotive education was verbalized, at least!

    Welcome to the GMTC!
