    Default oil pump changeout

    i believe my oil pump went out, has anyone changed one themselves? How hard is it? Any tips?

    What engine? 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive?

    Hardest part is lifting the enging to get the clearence to remove the pan. Grab a few beers and have some patience and you'll be good

    Pull the oil pressure switch first and hook up a mechanical gauge just to be sure the oil pump is shot.

    Just be really patient.This is not a quick process. But it is a relatively cut and dry procedure.
