Default The suburan got to use it's testosterone for the first time!

So I was headed into town on Wednesday. We live kinda in a rural place. Getting to town there is an uphill that ends at a stop sign.

Well, I get up there and there's a smaller sized dump truck that's sitting there with hazard flashers on. The driver is directing traffic through the stop sign while talking on the phone. So I pull up in front of him, throw on my hazards and go talk to the guy for a minute. Seems something had popped while taking off from the stop sign and now the truck won't go.

So I get the tow strap out from the 'burban, hook it up to the trailer hitch loop, clip the other end to his tow loop. I had him let off the brake to take up the slack in the strap - he could see it better than me. I put it in first and when I felt the slack taken up I let The Sarge get his grunt on and pull the truck up the rest of the hill, across the intersection and to a safe place on the other side.

I swear that the suburban was growling and baring his teeth (ok, *grill*) in a show of power for the rest of the day.

If I were in my early teens that day, I swear that experience would have made me "drop", if you know what I mean.

    Just thought I'd share!

    Steven

Dude, this reminded me of the Bill Cosby routine, "Now, what mooron puts a stop sign at the top of the hill?". Did you hear Sarge snorting through out the day? Told you he was a beast......

If I thought it would have come out in a picture I would have taken one - he was practically flexing everytime we passed a sexy car....
