    Default building a box

    started builfing a box to fit behind my 3rd row. its going to house 2 10s and have a floating style amp rack.


    so this is the setup
    jvc dvd player



    infinity component for the front, coaxial for the rear




    polk momo subs

    for amps im using a 1800 watt mtx ta5601

    base design of the box and test fit behind the 3rd row and how much clearance when the hatch is down




    amp racks and speaker rings in, test fitting and idea of how its going to look

    both sides clothed




    resined up, when that dries i can put on bondo and sand it smooth




    box is going to be covered to match the leather interior. amp racks are going to be covered with plexiglass and the bottom amp lit by a blue light.

    Couldn't agree more. I can tell how it's gonna sound just from the specs you posted. Just make sure you use a thick speaker wire.

    lookin good
    2000 silverado with a 5.3l v8, shorty headers, upgraded plugs, 10 mil wires, magnaflow high flow cats, flowmaster 80 series muffler(2 in 2 out) w/ 18 inch stainless silverline tips. i have a k&n CIA. its a 4x4 z71 offroad package. Ls model.
    extended cab 160k miles, truxedo low profile bed cover, diablo sport predator tuner.
    reman tranny @ 130k miles

    WOW if I built a box that big I'd have to pull a trailer for all my crap and the 100lb dog that I cant leave home without!!

    Looks good. Might want to consider a cap if you haven't already. Wouldn't want them subs to not have the power that they want.

    got back to the box

    some bondo, will be sanded



    bondo sanded, doesnt look smooth but it is




    some body filler primer
