    Default need just a little help :)

    Hello i'm a total n00b when it comes to trucks i have been driving a saturn for like 6 years and it just sux's lol, so here is my question i have a 1995 GMC k2500 4x4 Suburban with 245/75-16 stock tires on it i am going to be upgrading to a bigger rim and bigger tires now i know i will be needing to reprogram my truck for the bigger tires but where can i get that done at? or is there something i can just buy and do it myself? i have looked on the et but i can never seam to find anything that will work with my turck year it is always '97 or newer. any help would be much apreciated thanx in advance

    Gice the dealer a quick call and ask them to know for sure. Also some tire shops can reprogram the computer.

    Welcome to the GMTC. There are programmers you can buy yourself but I believe unless you know exactly what you are doing it is pretty much a big expense that you don't get much out of.

    Most good tire shops should be able to help you out, as would off-road / truck accessories shop.

    You bring up a good point, though, and I'm not sure how far back programmers go in terms of vehicle year.

    nelsonperformance.com get a custom tune, it will also help that tranny

    does anyone know if it works? it looks like this would do just fine for me because i probably will be using 2 sets of tire one summer one winter
