    Unhappy My little fender bender

In the school parkin lot, my friend backed up too quickly and did not look, and smashed my front end this morning.

Nobosy hurt, and it was his fault so he pays for it.

I was told by the local dealer that it would cost around 1700.00

Yeah, keep your friend and get some replacement parts. Make him put them on while you sit and watch. He'll save some cash and you'll have the parts you want.

I wouldn't put on aftermarket parts. A month ago a lid flew out of my truck and took out a mirrior on the truck behind me. As it happens it is a 2001 GMC sonoma. The sonoma told me where he got the opposite side mirrior, it was an aftermarket part. No way am I going to slap on aftermarket parts on someones truck if I can get OEM. Aftermarkt parts never match up and do not look right. Stick with OEM.
