    Default lift kits

i am starting to look at lift kits and i am a little lost i have never lifted a truck before i have always lowered them so any help would be appreciated, now for some details i am looking to get a 6" lift, i have a 1995 gmc k2500 suburnban sle 4x4 7.4L v8, w/o autotrac ( cause thats sh@t from what i hear ) with a 8 lug pattern, i have been looking at the multi shock setup in the front and i think i want to go that way because i like it, i have found this one but it is for a 6 lug, from what i have been seeing there are kits out there i just don't know what to look for, so any help would be nice thanx in advance

I would stay away from Skyjacker. Personally, I love Pro-Comp. I guess a lot depends on what your going to be doing with it. On another note, I would pay to have it professionally installed.

Like I said, it really depends on what you're going to do with the truck when you get the lift on. If you just want to look good and maybe do a little "urban" 4 wheelin'. then buy the cheaper lift. As far as the 2-3 shocks per side on the front, well let's just say ................ it's for looks
