I've noticed recently that all 3 of my stoplamps are always illuminated. The thing that is blowing my mind is when I tried to isolate which part is the culprit... Once I turn key to acc. the DRL come on of course, but the stoplamps are always on as well, when I disable the DRL (pushing dome O/R 4 times in a row), all lights go out and stoplamps work fine (they go out), but when I press brake pedal: on my instrument cluster, the odometer part becomes dim, and both of my turn signals up front, light up...when I release everything goes back to normal. When turning headlight dial to just marker lights, brake lights come on again, as well as turning dial to headlights on. I was thinking maybe stoplamp switch, so I tried disconnecting it, but the stoplamps are still on even with switch disconnected. I removed the DRL relay under the hood, thinking maybe the relay has some effect on it, the DRL go out, but stoplamps are still on until I push dome O/R 4 times, then they go out. So the only thing I figured out so far is that stoplamps are always on no matter what, even with switch disconnected, till I disable DRL with O/R button, but then I have the cluster and turn signal issue. I hope someone has seen this before and has some sort of insight as to what I might want to do from here, cause I am at a total loss...
