Also I haven't beet over to my buddies house in a while so I don't have any pictures. The only hole he cut out is for the power extension switch.

I went to a friend of mines place this past week, he has an 04 silverado 2500hd crew cab w/ the same mirrors as the one I had bought. I looked at his window/mirror switch on the drivers door and it looks exactly the same as mine except I only have 2 window switch's. The guy I bought these mirrors from switch to the smaller style like I have and he stated it will be plug and play, so I'll see when they get here next week and try them on.

I don't know that would be up to you to decide. I think the camper mirrors ( the ones w/ 2 mirrors top& bottom) are just to big and gaughty looking for my taste. I have seen the power extendable/foldable smaller mirrors on a half ton and they looked pretty good. The only down fall to those mirrors is the price tag.

I've actually seen a set on a 1500 on the freeway about amonth or so ago. It threw me at first but it looked fine, I was wondering if they were factory installed. The F-150 has a large mirrior option now so maybe GM is doing the same thing.

I have the power extending mirrors on my 05 silverado and I have been looking to swap them out for the small power folding mirrors with turn signals. Does anyone know how much it would cost to swap?

Check out ebay I'm sure you'll find a set there and you can turn around and sell your power extends for 450-500 bucks

I have a 1500 with the power extendable mirrors. I would be very interested in trading for the smaller power folding mirrors w/ the turn signals. I just want to make sure they will fit and work properly with no problems

well mirrors got here weds instlled they are a plug and play set-up but the power extend doesn't work. I CALLED THE LOCAL CHEVY DEALER AND THE ECU HAS TO BE PROGRAMMED TO RECOGNIZE THIS FEATURE SO IT'LL COST ME 80 BUCKS TO GET THE POWER EXTEND TO WORK
