audio/video install

some pics of my install i did yesterday.

jvc double din in dash dvd player, infinity kappa component for the front, infinity coaxials for the rear.

power wire down the drivers side

we had to run the rca's and speaker wire thru the center console and the center of the truck so they would be long enough

crossovers for the component set went in the center console

crossovers fit perfectly under the cup holder

new tweeter vs old, size of new one gave us a few problems but we got them mounted

back speaker

front speaker

rca's and speaker wire being routed thru the 3rd row seating

head unit in, ipod docks into small pocket. the ipod cable is hard mounted in there and the ipod just slides in and out.

i dont know how it sounds yet cause im waiting for my 4 channel amp to come in still.

As a true audiophile, it looks like you have one heck of a system. Everything looks mounted correctly. I want a touchscreen with Navi, but I love my Eclipse cd7100 too much to let it go right now. Not to mention I'd have to cut some of my dash to install a 7 incher right now. Anyway, hats off to a great looking install and a great sounding set up. I know it's gonna sound great cuz you used good products!

thanks, i cant wait for my aps to come in, should be here 2morrow. then i can finish up my sub box and amp rack. suks starting the truck and the screen comes on, i just have to shut it back off.

I barely ever listen to my system without my amp on. When my kids are in the truck I just take alot of the bass out so it sounds just a tad above a normal radio system. I was actually thinking about getting a bigger amp which defeats the purpose of why I sold my 3000 watt Kole audio in the first place.

Its just something about that bass!
