    Default Anybody installed a facotry navi head unit?

    I have an '08 silverado with the stock single CD radio head unit and I'd like to install an OEM navigation head unit.

    Has anybody done this? Any comments on the install?

    Any suggestions will help.

    If I am not mistaken I think you need the bose system for that to work

    I have the Bose system now, in order to install the factory GPS headunit will I also need a GPS receiver too, or is that already built into the truck because of On Star?
