New to Forum, need some assistance.
I have a 2007 nox that has recently displayed two messages;
"Service traction Control"
"Service Stabilitrac"
The traction control light is also illuminated.
After talking to a few people and researching the web, there is a great deal of reference to the "YAW Rate control module" is most likely bad and should be replaced.
Where is this sensor located?
If I was to replace this sensor myself, does the computer need to be recalibrated?
Does anyone know if this would be covered under the factory 60/100,000 mile warranty ?
This vehicle is nolonger under warranty and failed to purchase an extended warranty. 51,000miles (family vehicle, lots of long distance traveling, and 38 miles one way to work). I have never put these kind of miles on a vehicle in my life...
Your time is greatly appreciated,

Welcome to the site!
Glad to have ya!
The best way to find if it is under warranty would be to check with the local Chevy dealer.
Im unsure where this sensor is located. Hopefully somone else will chime in..

Just to followup, it was covered under warranty, but it was not the YAW rate control sensor. They dealership has to to perform a software update and that did it.
