    Default gages do not indicate

I have an 03 silverado 2500HD. All the gages indicate nothing, the dash board illuminating light comes on, the digital display for the DIC comes on. There are no warning lights, no problems starting the truck( I assume 14 volts since the truck started right up). Everything else electrical is working just fine. I looked in the manual, and the fuses for the left drivers door/DIC/gage cluster isn't blown. This has happened before when I replaced the battery, so I assumed it was a low voltage issue. A co-worker heard of some sort of reset function, but I can't find mention of it in the manual. Thanks for the help

    Default new piece of info

Now that the truck has warmed up, the gages work just fine. I am thinking it's a voltage issue. The cold weather in CT has lowered the battery voltage, driving the truck charges the battery and them when the truck is turned off and restarted, all gages work. This also happened when I charged the battery this past fall, and upon replacing the battery late summer. Garages tell me I need to replace the cluster, but doesn't it seem like an simpler problem?
