Default 1987 Suburban Wheel House Liner Rear ?

My truck had the factory wells rotted. I don't want to do a full repair at this time...but want to stop debris from getting up in there.

I saw these " Wheel House Liner Rear "....for newer trucks.

Will these fit in an 87?

I also emaiiled a guy who made a three pice set(I'll let you know if he says they may work).

    thanks.

Ok - the guy who made these before no longer offers them.

In tracking down WHAT exactly I need to replace this rusty piece I've run into a 'what do you call it' scenario.

This is what I THINK it may be: 898-29 YYYYRR WHEEL HOUSING UNIV CHEVY/GMC P/U 73-87; BLAZER/JIMMY 73-91

There's this and an inner rear fender sections - this and the one above are suppose to 'clam shell'.

    So...what do you think?

Note - even the tech was suprised that this was NOT listed in the Suburban section of thier site..rather it was listed in the truck area!

Any feed back would be great.

I'll try to get a photo tonight - as it seems I'm in terminology heck regarding this area of the Suburban...nobody can truly say this or that...the closes is what's listed above.

    Thanks.

i have seen another trick, at tractor supply company (i think it was) they sell preformed covers for trailer tires, kinda like what would be on a nice boat trailer but a little wider, just need some ingenuity for cutting, but they are cheap
