Just curious if anyone has had an issue with the radio on their Silverado or Sierra. At start up on a cold day I barely get any stations in clearly minus local stations. Once the truck is warmed it it seems to go away. Has anyone else ever had this issue? It's kinda annoying. I took it into the dealership and they replaced the antenna base but it hasn't helped.

yea...i have my 03 and at first i thought it was just the radio stations, but now i think it might be my antenna, but i had to replace my radio about 9 months ago due to the cd player not grabbing the cd's anymore. i bought a new one out of an 06 and it seems to be doing great except the static thing.
Hmmmm...Strange. It just seems odd to me that it's only when I first start out for like the first 10 minutes and then it clears up. It's supposed to be a bit warmer here over the next few days so we'll see if the issue clears itself up.
Does temperature seem to affect yours or is it all the time?

That is strange. I haven't had that problem with mine.
