Hey there. I was under the impression my truck was a double din but after exchanging some emails with a guy I was going to buy a head unit from I'm not so certain. He's claiming that the truck is a din and a half, not the full double din. Can anyone else confirm this? Thanks!

Edit: This is the head unit I'm strongly considering. Any professional opinions would be greatly appreciated! (it's actually $290 on amazon)

I am unsure on the din, but 290 is the best deal I have ever heard of on an in-dash, the Kenwood screen I want is about 700.00.

yes, the stereo is a 1.5 din

I've researched a little bit and apparently I need to switch out the radio bucket and bezel to that of an 03-06 model to obtain double din status. Has anyone done this?
