    Default engine hours are resetting

    I have a 07 Avalanche with about 7,000 miles and the engine hours that motor has be running has reset twice already back to 0.0 any suggestion

    Are you talking about the message center "Hourmeter" ???

    Could you accidently reseting it when you are resetin your oil life moniter, and or your personal/business trip meter???

    Not a clue. There are 2 hour meters, one is a trip timer and the other is total enginge hours. If you can figure out how to reset the milage reading I'm interested.

    no it's the total engine hours dealer said they called GM and said put a whole new cluster in they don't know

    this is like the fifth cluster ive heard of...ther are two problems here on company trucks/...?wtf

    Yes, short in the cluster has been the issue, several others that I have heard and change the cluster. The other is a ground to the cluster wire harness.....
