    Default Starting issues?

My truck is brand new.. (less than 1000 miles on it) and sometimes it doesnt want to start on the first try... is this normal? It happens if i use the key or the remote start.. and does it if the motor is hot or cold....

no this is not normal at all!

Especailly since were lucky if it gets below 40 down here.
I would take it back to the dealer and tell them. Im not sure what could be causing this.

Well do you have a gas or diesel motor. Have you done any mods to the motor that would require higher ful pressure, longer glow plug times?
If you have put a banks on or if the remote start is aftermarket that migt b your poblem.

Well, E85, there you go! Seems this feature was/is a failure..... Wait till you run a tank or two of Reg. gas and then go from there. I would just for S/G change the fuel filter.......
