    Default oil pressure drop

    ok guys my oil pressure at idle has been steadily dropping. it started round 40 when i got the truck and slowly is now down to about 30 at idle. its been about 4000 miles and is due for an oil change, you think that is the problem?

    yeah i had the same problem in my k1500 all i did was change the oil to a higher weight ( 10w40) and it picks up just fine now around 40 at idle. also throw some stp oil additve or resoiline engine repair in it it will help
