Good Morning. On 01/19, I posted about my 91 GMC 1500 Suburban 350 TBI. http://www.gmtruckclub.com/forum/sho...light=flooding
The water pump went out on the truck and it flung antifreeze all over the place, and thereafter the vehicle was still flooding out-and then wouldnt even start. GaryL pointed me in the direction of a similar post, and a friend of a friend told me the same thing - change the temp coolant sensor.
Anyways, I changed the temp coolant sensor and the truck starts.
However, when initially starting, you have to keep your foot in the accelerator somewhat (as it acts like it is going to flood out and shut off)...up around 1500 rpms. Then after the truck runs for 45 secs - A minute, it seems to work out the issue and smooth out. Any suggestions before I have to pay someone to diagnose it.
Thanks again guys.!
