    Hey bud.

This is from my '84 Sierra reg. cab.

I'm not sure if this helps you but this is the set-up I had. Your best bet is to walk into a store that specializes in car audio and tell them what you need. Here in Hamilton, Ontario, I'm lucky enough to have access to East Hamilton Radio, which is famous cross-country for their products and staff. They're expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. I believe the boxes for the speakers were $40 each and another $60 for the sub box.

I walked in, said, 'Hey guys I've got an '84 Sierra and I need a sub box to fit behind my seat, what've you got?'

This is what they hooked me up with. If you're a tall guy, you might be out of luck because I had to move my seat almost all the way forward to fit them behind there. Thankfully I'm vertically challenged at 5'8.

Trucks just aren't great for running systems no matter how you slice it. I'm honestly considering removing the bench in the back of my ext. cab just to fit the audio stuff in.

If there's any other questions you have, feel free to ask.

although I really don't like prefab boxes...for a regular cab truck its hard to get what you want for a decent price. www.subthump.com probably has the most decent prefab truck boxes and they aren't all that pricey compared to what most shops will charge you.

this is for the new body styles: http://www.subthump.com/gmre07.htm
