I have a 1998 Chevy 1500 truck, when I start it up it runs fine but after it gets a warmed up it loses almost all torque, it also does this under a load. It spurts and misses when given small amount of gas too. I replaced the O2 sensors and fuel filter but that didn't fix the problem. Do you think changing wires, plugs, rottor, and distributor cap will help???
Thanks

It could be a tune up issue but it could also be a fuel pump problem. Check your fuel pressure and make sure you have at least 62 psi. If it is lower than that, it will need to be replaced. My Suburban went through this this past summer.

I've heard of the older Fords having a problem with the ignition module when they when get warmed up. If you haven't done a tune up in a while you may want to start there. Otherwise could this be a MAF problem? You could try driving it till it starts having problems, then unplug the MAF sensor and see if it runs better. As long as you don't have major engine modifications, it should run ok with the MAF unplugged. Changing the fuel pump is not that much fun and would probably take a few hours to replace.
that same thing happened to me and it was my fuel pump.
