    Default bed size?

So I was just curious about the bed dimensions on my truck. So my 2003 1500HD, I measured it, and got 66x81, so I'm guessing if I were to get a truck topper, I would need one 66x80? Sound right? I don't know aobut the bed sizes vs topper sizes, so I just want to make sure that that is the correct demensions to be looking at. Thanks.

Oh no, I'm very much a poor man. I bide my time, till one comes along used, that's within my price range. I'm doing the same thing on a truck tool box. I'm in no hurry for either, so I just wait till I find one used. I'm cheap.

I'm not sure. I don't know what denotes a short box, or a long box. I do know what a cardboard box and an Xbox is though.

Any good shop should be able to tell you exactly what you are looking for, just give them a call, the least they could say is no. Google your truck like "1500HD dimensoins" or "2003 1500HD" I bet you can find it that way as well
