I ran across an air intake relocater accessory on the Jet performance site. It is supposed to increase power by allowing the computer to sense cooler air. Does anyone know if this will also increase mileage. I've written to Jet on another matter but haven't heard from them so I now need outside opiniions.

I don't know about that one. I'd get Jet's response in writing. As it stands, the cooler the air the better the power outpu is. That doesn't sound too good to me.

I don't like the idea of that. It is tricking the computer to increase timing which would probably be fine during cruising as you wouldn't see any knock retard and better MPG, but whenever the engine has a load on it such as going up a hill or at WOT you will probably be seeing a lot of knock retard which is not good. Basically anything that is used to trick your computer is something that I would stay away from.
