I have a set of pioneer 3 way 4x6's to replace the stock speakers in my 1993 silverado. It is an extended cab, and I need some hints on how to do the back speakers. The fronts are easy, but how do I get the whole plastic assembly out of the back. Any hints, tips, tricks, or step by step directions anywhere would be great. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

I did a google search and found this... http://www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/sh...hp?tid/195394/
But from the other things I read it sounds like those speakers aren't worth doing and that if you have the room two 6x9's in boxes will be much better.![]()

I can GARAUNTEE with a little ingenuity you can get 6x9 in the factory 4x6 in the rear and it will still look clean. They wount be underneath the panel but they can still look nice and clean. Anyway there should be a screw in the clothes hook on the rear at the top, you will have to take the seatbelt off as well and then I bet there would be one or two at the bottom where the plastic door sill meets the panel and then maybe around the actual window in the cab.
