    Default Exhaust for my 98 1500

    i was just looking for what exhaust to put on my truck?
    I want true duals with 45 degrees out behind my mud flaps... but i don't know what size pipe to get and weither to put a muffler on...

    the top is whats in my sig. and the bottom is with 40 series flowmaster which i liked better
    2000 silverado with a 5.3l v8, shorty headers, upgraded plugs, 10 mil wires, magnaflow high flow cats, flowmaster 80 series muffler(2 in 2 out) w/ 18 inch stainless silverline tips. i have a k&n CIA. its a 4x4 z71 offroad package. Ls model.
    extended cab 160k miles, truxedo low profile bed cover, diablo sport predator tuner.
    reman tranny @ 130k miles

    use 3" Pipe. If you are looking for true duals, i would recommend going to your local exhaust shop and having them fab one up for you. I would put mufflers on just to keep the local police happy and you will get a nice sound from them. I would recommend a flowmaster 40 series or magnaflow muffler for you truck.

    what muffler do you have in both your videos?
    and what exhaust do you have on your truck?

    I would do true duals with the flowmaster 40 or 44 series with 4 in stainless tips, nice sound and look

    i think the top one is an 80 series and the bottom is a 40 series, but i dont know if it is the delta flow or what. i wish i had went with the 40 again, i liked it better. oh well

    Okay thanks for the replys I'm going with the 40 series and 3in pipe with 4in slash cut tips out 45 degrees out the back behind my mud flaps. Thanks again!
