I have a '01 Silverado 1500 with a 6" lift and 35" tires, I think the stock gears are 3.73? I don't do any off-roading but I want to get the best mpg possible!! what gear size should I get??
What mpg do you get with your setup? do any of you have the SuperLift TruSpeed?

I'd say the 3.73's are your best bet. Any lower and you'd loose power to turn those tires from a stop.

I used to have 4.10 gears in my 05' Silverado, and I got 14.3 mpg all the time with a 6" lift and 35" tires.
Recently switched to a 5.13 Richmond gear set, and now I get 9-10 mpg!
I would say you should probably stick with your 3.73 gear, but that's just me!![]()

honestly I would go with 4.56. that way if you decide you want bigger tires down the road you can get them without losing performance or gas mileage. Also you will have more power with the current tires. My $.02

I would stick with 3.73 or if you can find some 3.23's.
