    Cool Tailgate Issues

    Hey guys, I have a problem with my tailgate not latching. Now my truck is a 99 and gets used alot so I was wondering if it was time to replace the latches or if I just need to use more grease. Any ideas?

    mine used to have a problem with not being able to open. If you pop off the part around the handle and undo the bolts on the back you can see if everything on the handle end is working right.

    Can you get in on the sides with a screw driver and pop the latches to the open position and try to close it?
