    Default Factory alloy wheels

1994 Chevy K1500 4x4 350 fi auto 49,000 original miles. The factory wheels look to have blemishes on them that I cannot buff out with aluminum polish.Kind of looks like the marks are etched into metal. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Those wheels get weird after a while, Clear coat peels off in places and they just don't look right anymore. You can probably find someone who is taking those wheels off to put aftermarket ones on and get them for next to nothing.

Here are two websites where you can get brand new silverado wheels with NO miles on them:
    www.brandnewtakeoffs.com
    www.regencyrep.com
The second site has to do with Regency Conversion company, and what they do is take delivery of trucks right from Arlington assembly plant where they make some of the Silverado's. When they do the conversions on their trucks and vans, they keep all the factory equipment and sell it for wholesale to the public. Last time I looked they wanted $800 for a set of four wheels and tires BRAND NEW, but I'm sure that the aluminum one's would be more money. Hope this helps you out,..............AMY

My neighbor just sold his 1992 chevy Reg. Cab SWB 4x4 5.7L and it only had 88k on it! He had those same wheels and he "babied" his truck. It was mint condition, and his wheels did the same thing. He thought it might be from using Bleach White on the whitewalls for so many years.
