I have a 2004 Silverado and I recently bought a programmer for it, but when I went to plug in the programmer it wouldnt turn on. I tried many different times and when I tried it on another truck that is the same year model it turned on right when I plugged it in to that other truck. I took it to the local Autozone and they said that it is my computer...is that possible? Any suggestions on what else it might be? Thank you.
Dustin
Sorry, OBD2 connector.
I fixed it! I found another post about the connector not working and he was told to check the cigarette lighter fuse, because the power supply for the OBD2 connector is linked to it. I checked the fuse and it was blown, so I replaced it and I tested my programmer and it turned right on![]()

Glad to hear the site helped you solve your problem!
