    Cool Hello Everyone

The name is Brian. I hail from Utah. Drive a Black '02 K1500 Z71, Ext. Cab, Reg. Box.

The truck has been awesome for me. Only major problems I've had were a worn ball joint (front drivers side) and a bad U-Joint that was causing a nasty rocking noise.

The truck has 108,000+ miles so I'm looking to start studying some major engine overhauls as well as transmissions. I'm hoping to keep the labor to a minimum so I'm looking for people to answer a few of my questions (hence why I am here.)

Any suggestions on what I should do about a transmission and possibly a new crate motor? What's the best route I should be looking towards

Cool, I'm probably just being super nervous and hearing things that aren't really there. Is there any precautions I can start taking to further extend the powertrain?

Gonna go buy some wires, plugs and I just recently seafoamed it all (except the oil). What else will help restore a little more kick that I know it used to have.
