Fix Tinted Tail lights

I live in the san fernando valley. Woodland hills to be exact.

I tinted my taillights and got a ticket after a while.

Anyways i need get the ticket signed off.

The Ticket actually states "red reflectors" i stuck red reflectors to my
bumper but the chip station didnt like that.

Im just looking for someone to let me borrow their untinted taillights
for like 15 mins so i can get it signed off.

i think that u u have to sand the tail lights and the spray paint them with clearcoat if u dont find someone to let u use there taillights

ha should've used window tint! Still don't know what year truck this is for....

sanding is probably the best way to go unless you find someone locally... thats the reason why i left my tails a dark bloody red when i finished... didnt want any tickets... i would have thought the reflector thing would have worked though

Its an 08. I'd pay the ticket off instead of sanding. I'm also willing drive somewhere close to a chp office if u live near valencia or pasadena or moor park. I'm also willing to kick u some cash.

How dark did you tint your lights??

did u use VHT niteshade, paint or window tint.....the first 2 u will have to sand, the later try using a nice sharp razor blade
