ok, so i was thinking about doing headers now that i have my exhaust done. these are the ones i was thinking.
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
Couple of questions though
will they bolt up to my stock exhaust flanges/area?
How much of an increase in performance will i see?
gas mileage increase?
difficulty to install?
will they last?
sound difference? extremely louder? not much, just a tone? mildly louder?
thanks guys, any help would be appreciated
they are for my truck that is in my signature

dont get those, they'll leak. whatever brand you decide on, be SURE you get a 3/8 flange. those flowtechs have a 5/16 flange. i'd suggest getting ceramic coated as well, although that is not really a necessity and it costs a good bit more. summit's brand has the 3/8 flange i think, and they're pretty cheap too. yep, heres a link summit headers they cost less too!
i'd also suggest full length as opposed to these shorty headers. the power, mpg, & sound will be much better than the shorties. the shorty headers, in all honesty, aren't much better than the stock manifold...
edit:
also, your power and mpg increases will be mainly @ high rpm when there's lots of CFM flowing thru the headers. there should be noticeable throttle respone improvement from say 2500-5000 rpm. the tone of your exhaust should be noticeably improved as well.
headers are a pain in the ass to install, usually...
be sure you get the 2 or 4 wheel drive version, whichever your truck is (appears to be 4x4)
