Hey everyone! We are new here...just bought a 2002 Yukon XL. I figured the best I could do is register here, since hell...same ride really. It is the SLT trim package, so equivelent to your guy's LT Submarines.

Anyway...quick question while I'm on here, just to get thing going right. I can't find the max load capacity of the roof anywhere in my owner's manual. Can anyone help? We have the factory load bars.

Thanks everyone, and hope to have fun soon in our Yukon XL...!

It should be right in there, the manual that is.

It is some stupid number like 100 or 150 lbs, if I remember right!

That's it? Hmmm, weird. And no...couldn't find that fact anywhere...really weird if you ask me. Not on the load bars either.

I did find how to put it in neutral for flat towing though! WOW, what a process!!!!

    Thanks for the welcome!

It's 200 lbs for our 94 burb on the roof racks.

You need to look under, and get this,

Luggage carrier in the owners manual, look for that in your index.
