03 Silverado Engine Upgrades

Alright I have a 03 Silverado 2500HD with the 6.0 LQ9 motor. I have seen comments about how simple boltons from a LS1 motor will increase power. The issue is no one seems to know what fits what from the LS1 or even if it does at all. So does any one know where to look for equipment and add ons that will transfer over to a LQ9 with minor or no midifications?

Will Handzel wrote a book called How to Build High Performance LS1/LS6. It can be purchased from Jegs, Scoggin-Dickey, or SA Designs. This book is great. Has truck section and part #s. Will Handzel was program manager for GM Performance.

Oh Man! It's to bad you didn't need this information on a 5.3, I have got a very detailed upgrade list of stuff that I had done at Mallet Performance shop in Berea Ohio. Sorry I couldn't help, but I'm sure that there is stuff out there maybe from GM Performance Parts?

I really don't think any parts off the ls1 will help your 6.0. there are aftermarket companies that make these upgraded parts that are direct fit and will work better. I would look at jegs and summit, they have alot of performance upgrades for the 4.8/5.3/6.0 motors.
