Default Chevy Equinox Stories [Expired Topic]

Just curious how everyone likes their equinox, and what was the deciding factor that lead you to buy one.

Well.... I just had another baby, and my Civic Si was too small to put my two kids and wife. Also how much more room for travel I now have. That and the 5 star rating, the side impact air bags, the smoother ride, and WELL, like i said before. I LOVE MY NOX! Im getting the windows tinted, and I just ordered the floor mats. Now i gotta find me some cool new shoes for my new ride.

Yeah, that's a good thing about a larger vehicle. I've been in wrecks in both larger vehciles like a Suburban and also small cars like a Chevy Cavalier. Let me tell you, having a stiffer frame and a bit more room is a very good thing!

Just bought our "nox" on Friday. We had a pontiac vibe but it was too small to pull a boat that I picked up dirt cheap. So we found this Equinox at the dealer where we bought the vibe from and they gave us a pretty good deal I think. Anyway we already used it to pull the boat with on sunday. So far I really like it. Plenty of power and a really nice interior. It is a 2005 LT AWD with leather an dall the whistles and bells.

Welcome MO2L, congrats on the Nox purchase. There are nice aren't they. I had a 2003 Vibe I traded for trailblazer. It had a class 1 hitch on it too.

We've had ours for 2 years. We got it because she wanted more room than a car. My wife puts a good amount of miles on it. It rides much better with a good set of tires on it. My biggest complaint is the whole console area. The engineers should be slapped & they still haven't changed it to my knowledge. We did have gas cap problems for a while until we replaced it (not a big deal). It would set off the dash light, since the fuel system is sealed.
