I apologize, you may have seen this post in the tech section. I am looking to see if anyone can tell me exactly what year 4L60 will bolt up in my 97 chevy 1/2 ton 5.0 liter. I have asked a lot of locals and have got numerous responses. I am looking to do the swap myself, fully capable, just want it to go smooth. I know that the electical connections may differ from one year to another so I am looking to unbolt my nonworking and bolt in a working tranny. Are these connectors removable and replacable with the one needed or do they need to be right from the get go. Thank you in advance.
